They fell down the cliff while they were exploring Valbona/ Two tourists lost

Two foreign tourists, while exploring the area of ??Valbona, fell due to the steep terrain and fell down the slope.

After the police were notified, the Blues, together with the medical team, immediately went to the place where the two tourists had fallen.  

Despite the very difficult terrain and bad weather with fog and snow, the Police services, after many searches, have made it possible to find the dead bodies of two tourists, the Belgian citizen BM and French citizen JB   

The alpine team of FNSh Shkodër immediately started to help the police services, since due to the very difficult terrain and bad weather, the police officers who are at the scene, find it impossible to get the bodies out of the abyss. Because of the bad weather, even the helicopter could not land in the place where the tourists were found dead.

In order to enable the removal of dead bodies, the local and border police services, as well as the alpine squad, are cooperating with Civil Emergencies and the Ministry of Defense. 

The investigative group of the Kukës Local Police Directorate is at the scene and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of this event and to determine the cause of the loss of life of the two tourists./ CNA.al
