Denounces PD/ Citizens of Puka are being threatened for votes by people with

The spokeswoman of the DP, Floriana Garo, has denounced the buying of votes in Pukë and the threat of citizens by persons with criminal records.

In a press statement, Garo said that the police are conducting a threatening campaign, pressuring citizens not to vote for the "Together We Win" coalition candidates.

She named some of the people who, according to her, threaten the citizens and move around armed.

Full statement:

Trying to intimidate the real opposition, using the Police, who say they belong to the state, belong to the government, or any other measure of the government does not scare us, but lets us know that the government is scared, from the desperation of defeat seeks salvation in the following acts.

In Tirana, the Municipal Police has been sent to close the offices of the branches of the Democratic Party and the "Together We Win" coalition. Bandits in uniform, in violation of any ethical and electoral code, went to the offices of branches 2 and 5, with the closing order in hand.

The attempt to close the opposition from any way of communication with the voters, after they robbed the seal and appointed the leader of the coalition against the will of the members, makes them look small and panicked by the popular wave that has turned against them.

You can also find other bandits in Cërrik. To a state official, the head of the Commissariat who desecrates his uniform every day, turning into a companion of the SP candidate. Bedri Hasani, without a mandate, and in violation of the law, conducts checks in bars and houses of opposition supporters.

Not far from Cërkiu, in Lushnjë, the Municipal Police demonstratively went in front of the PD headquarters with the aim of removing the electoral banner.

Since Rama is coming tomorrow and since he can't stand the banner with the slogan "Together We Win", his cubs in Lushnja want Rama not to catch anything inappropriate.

The fact that they do it for Rama was proven by one of the policemen who told the opposition representatives: remove it today and you can bring it back tomorrow.

The most alarming situation is in Pukë, where Gjon Gjonaj's camps, in the Police and administration, have started an open campaign of threats with the aim of scaring the opposition.

Officials of the Puke Police Station, and people with criminal records, who have the support of the police, put pressure on the citizens to vote for Gjon Gjon.

1-Fiqiri Dani, the head of the Pukë police station, calls the citizens and his subordinates to the office, pressuring them not to go out and vote otherwise there will be consequences.

2-Imer Rexha, Rend police officer, distributes money to buy votes in Pukë.

3-Ndue Jaku, an employee of the Road Police, distributes money to buy votes in Gjegjan.

4-Sokol Frroku, the driver of the mayor of Puke, just released from prison with a criminal record, moves around the city armed.

5-Besmir Selmani, with a criminal record, just out of prison, moves around armed

6-Ed Ndoja, police contingent, moves armed

7-Zef Luka, with a criminal record, convicted, moves in the area of ??Gjegjan armed

8-Lek Luka with a criminal record, convicted, moves to Gjegjan armed

9-Ndue Luka, headman of Gjegjan village, with criminal records, moves to Gjegjan armed.

10-Gjin Gega, the manager of OSHEE Fushe-Arrez, threatens people

11- Lul Mema, administrator of the Rrape Unit, distributes money to buy votes

These people, in cooperation, move armed with cars without license plates in all the roads of the municipality of Puke, block the roads and stop citizens and representatives of the opposition, not allowing them to campaign.

Those who oppose are physically abused or escorted to the police.

The police have been informed, but they do not take any measures against them, they even cooperate with them.

The Gjegjani group has 12 police radios in use and they communicate about the movements and pursuits they do to every person and representative of the opposition when they enter their area.

The Together We Win coalition calls on the General Director of the State Police to immediately withdraw the policemen who have turned into thugs, from Lushnja to Cërrik to Pukë and beyond.

Desecration of the uniform is a shameful act for the entire police force and its professionals.

We call on the Prosecutor's Office to initiate investigations into these flagrant violations of freedom of expression and the violence that is exercised on this premise.

We ask OSCE-ODHIR to take note of all these abuses and consider them for the final report of the May 14 elections./ CNA.al
