Prime Minister Edi Rama today during his speech in Brussels, where the intergovernmental conference between Albania and North Macedonia, with the EU, is being held, focused on the Reform of Justice.
Rama has expressed his pride that ex-ministers or former socialist officials are already in prison, trying to sell this as an "achievement".
"We destroyed the entire palace of corrupt justice.
BKH and SPAK are an essential element of this new justice.
If they had talked about a politician behind bars before, they would have laughed. But, today, neither politics, nor the party's tessera, nor money can protect him anymore.
Equality in the face of justice is now possible and attainable.
I stand here today as the leader of a democratically elected majority that has never used an arrow against the judiciary to reverse decisions.
