Czech Prime Minister: We will support Albania's integration towards the EU

The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, present at the joint conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama, Prime Minister Kovacevski and President Ursula von der Leyen, expressed the support of the Czech Republic for Albania.

He emphasized that he is happy that the first intergovernmental conference for Albania and North Macedonia is being held under the Czech presidency.

"On behalf of the Czech presidency, I congratulate you on this milestone. We will be stronger from your choice that has been tested so many times. Given the Russian aggression, we appreciate your attitude to have the same line with the EU. The Czech Republic has supported EU membership and will continue to do so. We are honored that such a process takes place during our presidency. The Czech Republic and all of Central Europe know very well the importance of European integration for economic development.
