The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, raised a series of accusations against the Government during a meeting with farmers in Belsh, Elbasan.

Berisha said that Prime Minister Edi Rama is not subsidizing farmers and according to him this is sending Albania towards bankruptcy.

He made a comparison with Serbia and Kosovo, while claiming that our Government does not care about the people.

"I have also met other farmers, they ask for a subsidy based on production, there is nothing more honest than this. Let's go back, Albania is in danger, the farmers are going bankrupt, Albania is going bankrupt. Here you get zero. Serbia subsidizes the hectare 80 times more than us. Is there, should we stop this flip-flopping. Farmers cannot be careless people, at the mercy of the weather and the market.
