The former ambassador of Albania to the EU, Luigi Soreca, has reacted regarding the holding of the first intergovernmental conference between Albania and the EU.
In a message on social networks, Soreca describes the opening of negotiations as a historic moment.
"Today is a historic moment for Albania and for the EU! The time has finally come for Albania to move forward on its path to becoming an EU Member State. Very happy for all the people in Albania and friends who see Europe as their natural destination. The future is together!" - writes Soreca./ CNA.al
