Rama: We need a strong fourth mandate, whoever wants an EU passport should vote

Prime Minister Edi Rama started this Saturday's podcast differently, talking about the EU passport.

He stated that to grant the EU passport, a fourth mandate stronger than the other three mandates is needed.

The Prime Minister said that anyone who wants an EU passport has only one option and one path: to vote to equip every Albanian with this passport within this decade.

"We can finally close this history of discrimination, humiliation and no one will separate us like black sheep from the flock of our European fellow travelers when we enter the border. Let's no longer give an account of why we are entering and where we are leaving. We can hand over the Albanian European passport in 2030. This passport must change and add something fundamental, EU-Republic of Albania.

"To grant the EU passport, we need not just a 4th mandate, but a stronger one than today's three mandates. Whoever wants the EU passport has only one opportunity and one path, to join the united vote, to give us this opportunity to provide every Albanian with an EU passport within this decade," said Rama./ CNA
