Veliaj in prison/ Tabaku: He should not run with the SP even if he is free

Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, said today that Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, who is in prison, should not run with the SP even if he is free.

Invited to a television program, Tabaku commented on the arrest of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, adding that Veliaj represents ugliness and '5D'.

Tabaku added that this is a degradation that has shocked even the socialists and that the prime minister's departure to the Municipality of Tirana is serious.

"Even if Veliaj were out, the SP would remove him from the campaign. He represents ugliness, with 5D, with the votes they have bought, with everything they have done."

"The machinery in the Municipality of Tirana has been exposed. To be sure, this degradation has shocked even the socialists. The Prime Minister's departure to the Municipality of Tirana is serious, it shows that there is no separation of the government with the local government," said Tabaku./CNA
