Prime Minister Edi Rama went this Friday to Dropull, where he inaugurated the Derviçani square, which will bear the name of the former Greek Prime Minister Konstantinos Mitsotakis, the father of the head of the current Greek government, Kiriakos Mitsotakis.

As soon as he took the floor, Prime Minister Edi Rama greeted the attendees in Albanian and then in Greek.

Rama also mentioned the tensions between Tirana and Athens due to the arrest of the elected mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri.

The head of the government stated that the brothers occasionally have quarrels and misunderstandings, but emphasized that these are things that pass.

"Sometimes politics with its electoral needs, not significant for the destinies of our countries, disturbs the flow of our brotherhood, but these are things that pass.

It would be nice if they didn't happen, but fights and misunderstandings happen between brothers who live in different houses. Misunderstandings not only pass, but make the inseparable bond between our two peoples stronger. I don't know if Konstantinos Mitsotakis is watching us from above, I like to think that even the sun that appeared is his smile.

I am closing by wishing that Albania and Greece have more people similar to the man in this bust. What divides us never takes away what unites us. We are two peoples that look like two drops of water", the prime minister underlined.
