The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, said today that the government led by Prime Minister Edi Rama has lost legitimacy, after several recent developments that have caused a stir.

In a television studio, Noka stated that it is the opposition's merit to expose the government, through denouncing corruption with facts and evidence.

According to Noka, the DP is not in battle with the authorities, but with the causes of democracy.

"Developments in the Rilindja camp have been bordering on the dramatic. Since the outbreak of two mega-scandals, Edi Rama's government has automatically lost legitimacy. We have achieved the unmasking of power. It is the merit of the opposition, we have denounced corruption and the incrimination of the state with facts and evidence. The opposition has fought to be annihilated and we have once again managed to unmask a narco-regime. In such a situation, no other opposition than the DP could stand. We seek democracy, not simply power. We are not in a battle for power, but the causes are such", - said Noka./ CNA
