"The same prosecutor requested low sentences for the executioners"/ Balla: Don't miss February 17 in Pristina
The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taula...

Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa, in an interview with CNA, spoke about today's opposition protest, the next steps of the opposition action, and the government's scandals.
Zhupa said that today's opposition protest is not simply a momentary reaction, but part of the Democratic Party's political action against state capture or corruption.
The MP told CNA that the opposition people are seeking a technical government that will be a guarantor of free and fair elections.
Focusing on participation in the national protests organized by the opposition, Zhupa stated that today there will be a massive participation and the two previous national protests will be surpassed.
Asked by CNA about the possibility of escalating the action, the MP replied that it will be intensified in a democratic and constitutional manner.
For Zhupa, the responsibility for any escalation lies with the government, which ignores real problems and behaves as if power does not belong to the citizens.
Excerpt from the interview
Question: What will the next opposition protest bring differently?
The next protest is not just a momentary reaction, but part of a clear political action of the Democratic Party, against state capture, corruption and abuse of power and the political protection that is being given to the government against investigations. The opposition people demand a technical government without Edi Rama, a guarantor for free and fair elections. The protest will have a massive participation, and will certainly surpass the two previous national protests. A strong message will be given that Albania cannot continue to be governed with arrogance, scandals and impunity by blocking the decisions of justice. It is a protest for the dignity of citizens and the future of the country.
Question: Will there be an escalation of the action?
The opposition action will continue and will be intensified in a democratic and constitutional manner, as much as is necessary to make the voice of the citizens heard. The responsibility for any escalation falls on a government that, in relation to crime and drugs, recognizes only corruption as a working method, ignores real problems and behaves as if the power belongs to it and not to the citizens. Because it has taken power not through a free vote, but owes it to criminal groups and drug trafficking networks./ CNA
