Draft law on surrogacy/ Goal: Women will be used as reserves to produce babies

The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, strongly opposed the draft law on reproductive health.

In a conference with journalists, Meta said that with this law, Albanian women and girls will be used as reserves to produce babies for money.

"They are aiming to turn the country into an international center of uteruses with this new law on reproduction. They use Albanian women and girls as paid reserves to produce babies. The EP considers urinating for rent to be a euro-crime. This is an attempt to deny the sublime mother-father designations, and turn them into numerical expressions of parent 1 and 2. The most bitter part is the prolongation of abortion time and the encouragement of abortion of young girls. The Supreme Court in SBBA has taken an extreme decision on abortions to reduce the weeks of abortion. This law is presented today as the country has been hit by depopulation", said Meta. /CNA
