The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting this afternoon in the Kombinati neighborhood in Tirana. In his speech, Berisha focused on several issues related to the elections.

Berisha stated that the DP program will do everything for the employment and housing of young people.

"We will modernize education. We will put teachers on a pedestal. We will do everything for the employment and housing of young people. Grants will be given to young families. And if they have 3 children, that grant is forgiven forever. Albania will become a technology capital," said Berisha.

Berisha said that the DP's program is concrete and needs the support of Albanians.

"This program is concrete. This program requires your support," Berisha said.

Berisha accused some of the media outlets in the country of being under government control.

"The media is under terrible control by the government. Yesterday, Këlliçi was on state television and something happened that didn't happen even during Ramiz Ali's time. And the broadcast was interrupted in the middle. Shameful story. Even during communism, such a thing didn't happen," Berisha said./CNA
