The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, is holding a series of meetings in all regions of Albania, where the economy is at the center of discussions. Noka was in Korça today, where he met with several merchants and citizens, with whom he spoke about the economic situation.
Noka was in these meetings together with the political leader of Korça Ivi Kaso. In his speech, Noka emphasized the economic program of the DP, which according to him, will revive markets, increase consumption, increase production and keep farmers' products afloat.
Noka stated that after May 11, Albanians with the Democratic Party government will have easing policies.
"Here we are at the fruit and vegetable market in Korça.
The whole market resembles a desert. The merchants have collected only pennies in their coffers. The merchants who complain that the purchasing power in Korça has gone to its historic minimum due to depopulation. Only pensioners are left who do not even have purchasing power. The fiscal system applied by Rilindja has ruined the farmer.
The prices that businesses sell fruits and vegetables are not competitive with the prices that imports bring. The open Balkans as an economic policy of Edi Rama has buried local businesses, has buried Albanian farmers. After May 11, Albanians with the Democratic Party government will have easing policies. A flat 10% tax will be imposed, equal to everyone. 10% flat tax on wages, 10% for any income above wages. Small businesses over 180 million lek in income will have zero taxes. Free professions will have ZERO TAXES. "Made in Albania" production will be created, to compete not only with the regional market but with the international market.
This is the vision of the Democratic Party. This is a promise for the Democratic Party's governance, after May 11. All the farmers, as you saw, gave us their word. They will vote for the 1st. The traders also promise that they will vote for the 1st, as a solution for them, for their economy, for their families, for Korça and all of Albania", said Noka. /CNA
