The candidate for deputy of the Mundësia Party in the Fier Region, Frida Mavriqi, has today shared a concern related to this city. In a video posted on social networks, Mavriqi appears in the city center, which is, as expected, empty.
Mavriqi says that in 10 years, there have been thousands fewer young people in Fier.
Mavriqi says that this is not because the young people wanted to leave, but because they saw no reason to stay.
Mavriqi adds that this is the time for change in Fier.
"10 years ago, on a Saturday like today, with this wonderful sunny weather, the clock marks 16:27 in the afternoon. Fier was full. Today, after 10 years, in 2025, the city is empty. I do not find any reason why Fier should be empty at this time, on a Saturday in sunny weather. There is only one. That is a political reason. It is the lack of opportunities for young people to have the opportunity to develop and rise in their city, in the city of Fier. They are finding space somewhere outside. This will change after May 11", - said Mavriqi. /CNA
