Audit of financial reports/ CEC sanctions 84 political parties with fines

At the most recent public session of the Central Election Commission, following the financial audit, the CEC imposed sanctions on 87 political parties.  

Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashki approved the report of findings from the audit of the financial reports of political parties on income and expenses for the calendar year 2023.

In accordance with Article 23/4, point 1 of the Law "On Political Parties", the administrative measure was decided, a fine of 100,000 lek for the "Democratic Party of Albania" and a fine of 60,000 lek for:
