Production of sophisticated drones in Albania?/ Rama reveals security plan

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his speech at the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, among other things, focused on a new step for the country in terms of security.

According to Rama, sophisticated drones will be produced in Albania.

Rama added that this is not a fairy tale told to Albanians, but a reality.

"Orders for uniforms for the Swedish army in Albania, in a tailoring company here. An endless story of whims about uniforms. They will be produced in Albania and by Albanians. We do not need foreigners. This company will also produce for other countries. It will also serve as an orderer for factories that are in trouble due to the euro. And it is not something that will be done in the future because it is happening. The first products will be released within this year. Well, we are stupid to go to others for every type of drone. What is stopping us? We have started work to produce sophisticated drones. It is not a fairy tale that is told to Albanians every day. If we were a force that works to get money, we would not set up an entire procurement system that is practically going towards closing the abuses with procurements", - said Rama. /CNA
