The political delegate for the Diaspora in the Democratic Party, Jozefina Topalli, stated today that there are still problems with the votes of Albanians in Greece. In a statement to the media, Topalli said that the situation is a derivative of the scheme of manipulation of the electoral process in Greece, and it only happens in Greece.
Topalli added that after May 11, Edi Rama will no longer be prime minister because the honest vote will make a big difference in Albania.
"In Greece, they are unable to receive the envelopes and they are not delivered to their homes. They do not find the envelope when they go to the premises where the DHL subcontractors are addressed. So while they are unable to vote, to receive the ballot, here in Tirana endless boxes with completed ballots arrive.
What is happening today, yesterday, 3 days ago is very interesting, in fact, it is a derivative of the scheme of manipulating the electoral process in Greece, and it is happening only for Greece.
Only filled boxes are coming from Greece, while people have not received their ballots to vote.
Other boxes arrive in a completely insignificant way, from other places around the world.
The entire diaspora spread across the globe has a significant number of boxes coming in, while boxes filled with votes that have not been filled in come from people who have not been able to receive the envelope due to problems with DHL and its subcontractors.
Practically what we have said, the postal service to subcontractors is apparently being provided by the Tirana government, and this turns the massive manipulation that is taking place in Greece into an extremely big problem.
We ask the CEC, which says that subcontractors will be sanctioned for not complying with the standards of submission, return and delivery, that we, as a political force, are not interested in sanctions at this moment, but in preserving the integrity that no longer exists under these conditions.
Under these conditions, we are forced to ask the CEC that the boxes coming from Greece be treated separately and not be combined with those from other countries, since we have strong suspicions about the scheme of manipulating the vote of Albanians in Greece.
I continue to reiterate the call for the OSCE-ODIHR to have a greater focus on what is happening with the manipulation of the Albanian vote in Greece.
We reiterate SPAK's request to investigate this scheme that does not occur in other countries, but only in the neighboring country, in fact insulting the dignity and right to vote.
"After May 11, Edi Rama will no longer be prime minister because the honest vote will make a big difference in Albania," Topalli declared./CNA
