Lawyer Krehnik Spahiu has reacted to the news that an American journalist has received a response from the US State Department that Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha can travel to the US.

In a post on social media, Spahiu shows how entering the US differs from removing the 'Non-Grata' status.

According to him, legally, the removal of the 'Non-Grata' is done with the same procedure as the person was declared on the blacklist. By decree of the US President, Secretary of State Marco Rubio must sign the reasoned decision on the provisions of the presidential decree.

According to the lawyer, there was no need for such a question, as they are listed on the UN list, which also includes Fidel Castro, Maduro, Mugabe, etc., who were "non grata" in the US, but in the interest of their country were invited, for example, to the UN.

Spahiu states that Sali Berisha has not yet been removed from the Non-Grata status, because if it were true, he would be traveling for the electoral campaign.

Spahiu adds that Berisha has time to prove whether he can enter the US until Sunday.

"Anyway, Berisha has time to prove he can enter the US until Sunday. My suggestion is to cross illegally through Mexico."
