The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held the closing election meeting in Korça today. In his speech to the citizens, Berisha stated that Albanians have a siren spirit to save Albania on May 11th.

Berisha said that those who have filled the country's squares have restored hope to Albania.

Berisha said that he does not need the first 100 days of governance for personal power, but to sign the turning point of change.

"Today we are not who we should have been. Today we are the people who have abandoned Korça and Albania more than any other country. There are no more students in the schools. A siren emanates from the soul of this people that on May 11 we will save Albania."  

Korça has hope. Korça has faith. You who have filled this square have given hope back to Albania.

"We need 100 days, not for my power, never. We need them to sign together a decisive turn in this great decline that we have. We need 100 days so that our fathers and grandfathers no longer count their bread. They no longer receive a pension of less than 200 euros," Berisha said./CNA
