Diaspora vote/ DP denunciation: 137 names appear on the PER platform and on the

Democratic Party lawyer Franc Nuri, together with the DP's leader for the Diaspora, Jozefina Topalli, held a joint conference regarding the emigrant vote.

Nuri said that the DP has identified at least 137 names of voters from abroad duplicated on the lists. So the names appear both on the PER platform for voting from abroad and on the electoral lists in Albania.

Nuri called on the CEC to clear duplicate names.

Lawyer Nuri also stated that according to information, in some cases voters have gone to personally submit their votes to the CEC or in other cases they have sent their votes by other mail, not by DHL.

" We have identified several names, 137 two weeks ago, and we have not received an answer about what happens to the names that appear on the PER platform and on the electoral lists in Albania. We expect these names to be cleared from the electoral lists because otherwise it is an electoral crime."

"Citizens have gone to the CEC premises and attempted to cast their votes physically or by other means than DHL mail. We have requested information on this case ," said Nuri./ CNA
