The Secretary General of the Socialist Party, and also the political leader for the elections in Dibra, Blendi Klosi, calls the May 11 election campaign intriguing, as he leads a difficult district like Dibra.

Blendi Klosi: I was elected for the first time in 2001. This is my seventh personal competition.

Blendi Fevziu: Have you seen one uglier than this in the previous 7 competitions?

Blendi Klosi: Every race has its own intrigue, its own race. The campaign for me is very intriguing. I have been in a difficult district like the Dibra district for the Socialist Party. The Socialist Party has not had success in Dibra for 35 years.

Blendi Fevziu: Has the DP defeated you in Dibër for 35 years?

Blendi Klosi: In the central government. I believe that not only will we win, but I believe that we will reach a 4-1 result. I believe that it will be an election spectacle. I have a deep conviction that not only will we have progress in Debar, but we will compete for four mandates.

Blendi Fevziu: How does the situation look in Dibër? Calm?

Blendi Klosi: The situation is calm. The only thing that disrupts the campaign is the noise of the cars of these representatives of the opposition camp, who have nothing left but to make noise in the streets./ CNA
