The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held an election meeting in Berat this Tuesday. In his speech to the citizens, Berisha said that with the DP program, in the first 100 days of government, important changes will occur in the economic plan.

According to Berisha, a necessary change is the creation of a list of 100% reimbursement of medicines.

"In 100 days, Albania will have a list for the reimbursement of medicines, the reimbursement will be 100%. I can't say free healthcare. But everyone will have the reimbursement list," said Berisha.

Berisha said that the price of oil will decrease, just like in North Macedonia.

"The oil, which this government charges you 1.1 euros, will never be sold for more than in North Macedonia. In 100 days, every enterprise will pay 10%. Salaries over 500 euros will automatically increase by 13%. VAT will drop to 15%," said Berisha.

Berisha added that in the first 100 days, the engines of hope for citizens will be ignited.

"We need these 100 days to return the money and to give an opportunity to every Albanian. I want to do everything within 100 days with my experience, sensitivity and passion and to start the engines of hope," said Berisha. /CNA
