The State Election Commissioner held a press conference today. In his statements, Celibashi answered several questions of interest to the public.

Among other things, Celibashi shared important information regarding the ballot envelopes that have not yet been delivered to Albanian voters who are registered to vote in the May 11 parliamentary elections.

In his response, Celibashi stated that this happened due to problems with address or email data.

Celibashi said that their envelopes are still at the offices of the DHL postal company.

"Around 21 thousand envelopes have not yet been delivered by DHL. They are in their offices and are in the process. Of these, 11 are due to problems with addresses and emails. They have not been able to find them. That is why the envelopes are in their offices."

For this reason, a few days ago we also made a call for citizens to contact DHL in the relevant country and explain that they have not received their slip.

The rest are citizens who have not responded and the envelopes are still at the DHL offices. They are waiting to see if the voters themselves will contact them," Celibashi said. /CNA
