The Democratic Party's candidate on the open list for Tirana, Grigels Muçollari, in an interview with CNA, commented on the tensions and clashes that are occurring on the ground 5 days before the May 11 elections.

Muçollari stated that the only tension he has identified in the campaign is between citizens and SP representatives.

"The only tension I have seen in this campaign is between citizens and SP representatives; all opposition candidates have been welcomed by citizens," he said.

Among other things, Muçollari spoke about the model of a politician who should be in parliament.

"There are politicians who are young, but we need people who listen to and represent the voice of citizens and those who have a vision for Albania to make it a more livable country."

"The change this time should be that politics should be done by the capable. You must have overcome some challenges and stand up for issues that interest citizens. The main model is one that responds to citizens and has a clear vision of where Albania should be," Muçollari declared./ CNA
