Lulzim Basha resigned from the position of the head of the Democratic Party in March 2021 and a few months after leaving the leadership of the right, "disappeared" from the political scene.

In addition to no longer making public appearances in meetings or interviews, Basha did not even go to Parliament.

This lasted for more than half a year and shortly before the elections, Basha appeared speaking about Kosovo.

"I know that there are many factors against open lists. Some of them are part of the Democratic Party.
