Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that the liberation of areas near national roads has begun across the country.

Through a post on social media, Rama shared a video from the launch of this action, stating that there will be no occupations carried out in the open sky.

Rama writes that the new Urban Renaissance 2.0 program will contribute to treating space as common ground.

"The liberation of the national highways has also begun, defining a limit for the withdrawal of entities, which must simultaneously ensure that no race will be under the open sky and at the same time, according to the criteria of the new Urban Renaissance 2.0 program, will contribute with a certain amount of greenery, together with the government, by treating the space along and opposite the national axes as part of our common home and not as no one's land," Rama writes./CNA
