Former MP Myslim Murrizi today accused representatives of the Democratic Party of having merged their votes with the Socialists since 2008 solely for their own interests in the Assembly.

Through a post on social media, Murrizi states that with this step, the Democrats have sold democracy and the sovereignty of the citizens' vote, who are not receiving a single vote in five consecutive elections.

According to Murriz, this act by the DP has killed competition and meritocracy, as hypocrisy and condescension towards the mayors who draft the lists have long increased.

"When I see Bylykbashi on the screens after May 11 saying that a different electoral system is needed, I feel like vomiting.
When he stutters and calls the agreement of June 5, 2020 "sacred", but which he never asked for in July 2024 when he joined votes with Rama to close 30% of the lists, to provide them with a stinking seat for their own people in Parliament, I feel like vomiting...

And when I hear him sometimes talk about a majoritarian system, I am very surprised at how hypocritical he is, because in Durrës he loses even if he is voted for within the family with votes.

At least keep the lid on the "aunt's" manhole closed, because every time you open it, you stink up the world.

Since April 2008, you have sold democracy and the sovereignty of the CITIZENS' VOTE, just to be in Parliament without a vote, and Albanians since 2009, 2013, 2017, 2021, 2025, that is, five elections, cannot choose, but simply vote, as in communism.

"With this unworthy law agreed upon between the same individuals, but established in different parties, where competition, meritocracy and individual values ??have been killed, while servility, hypocrisy and bowing to the leaders who draft the lists have been increased, the DP has not won any elections and will never win them, even if elections were held every Sunday," writes Murrizi. /CNA
