"Prices in the stratosphere, the nation towards extinction"/ Berisha:

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke at length today about several recent issues in the country, as he delivered his speech at the table with the opposition.

In his speech, Berisha listed inflation, the fall of the euro, the decline in fertility, and poor performance in public investments among the most worrying issues.

Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of being responsible for the situation in the country through the concentration of power.

"Prices are stratospheric. Constructions are non-stop. Imagine where our country is going. Rama has forced over 40% to leave Albania in 12 years. A pensioner said it well that he (Rama) destroyed the euro. Not counting the export companies that work with euros. They went bankrupt and headed towards Europe for a bite. With thousands of workers and intellectuals.

The birth rate is the lowest in the region. We have the largest population decline. Since 2018, mortality is higher than birth rate. The nation is on the path to extinction.

Rama has concentrated all power in his hands. From 67 billion euros in taxes, if we subtract 8 billion euros in salaries in 12 years, the rest has been stolen and wasted to the extent of 80%. Just take a look: All their public works are collapsing, as if they were made of cardboard and not concrete. These are what they look like", said Berisha. /CNA
