The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his speech at the podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office, accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of expelling 40% of the population from the country.

Berisha said that Rama is worse than the ousted president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro. He further said that 2026 will be the year that the opposition people will triumph.

"Ramaduro has driven 40% of the population out of Albania. This is worse than Maduro. He prefers wines that cost 33 thousand euros a bottle. Of course, I will tell you here that we do not expect the Delta forces to land in Surrel, that our Deltas will land. You will have them there. Just like Maduro, you will end up in the courtroom. This is a big year for us. The opposition people will triumph. They will overthrow the regime installed over them and they will be free again.
