The government sets monthly income compensation for several categories

In accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution, Article 5 of Law No. 9936, dated 26.6.2008, “On the Management of the Budget System in the Republic of Albania”, as amended, Law No. 115/2024, “On the 2025 Budget”, as amended, and Law No. 87/2025, “On the 2026 Budget”, upon the proposal of the Minister of Economy and Innovation, the Council of Ministers determined the provision of monthly income compensation for several categories.

According to the DCM, persons with incomes of up to 40,000 (forty thousand) lek per month on 31.12.2025 will benefit from monthly income compensation of up to 1,800 (one thousand eight hundred) lek per month.

Persons with incomes of up to 22,000 (twenty-two thousand) lek per month on 31.12.2025 will benefit from monthly income compensation of up to 800 (eight hundred) lek per month.

Persons with incomes of up to 18,000 (eighteen thousand) lek per month on 31.12.2025 will benefit from monthly income compensation of up to 1,000 (one thousand) lek per month.

Persons with incomes of up to 30,000 (thirty thousand) lek per month on 31.12.2025, who benefit from a disability pension, determined according to the law, will benefit from monthly income compensation of up to 600 (six hundred) lek per month.

Persons with incomes of up to 18,000 (eighteen thousand) lek per month on 31.12.2025, who benefit from a family pension, determined according to the law, will benefit from monthly income compensation of up to 700 (seven hundred) lek per month.

According to the DCM, the following categories will benefit from financial support for 2025, in the amount of 15,000 (fifteen thousand) lekë:

a) Families and individuals who are treated with economic assistance

b) Children without parental care, placed in foster families;

c) Persons with disabilities

ç) Individuals benefiting from the status

"Status of paraplegic and tetraplegic invalids",

d) Individuals benefiting from the status "For the status of the blind"

dh) Personal assistants of disability payment recipients. /CNA
