DP protest in Durrës/Xhaferri: Inefficient hydropower plant, the project

The citizens of Durrës held a protest today after the floods that occurred in this city, as a result of heavy rainfall.

Democratic Party MP Besart Xhaferri, through a post on social media, writes that the protests will be irreversible against this caste of thieves.

Xhaferri says that although the city of Durrës is being flooded for the third time, the government refuses to declare a state of emergency because it does not want to pay compensation.

The Democrat stated that the hydropower plant is inefficient because its project was diverted for Rama's account.

Xhafer's status

Flooded citizens are borrowing money from microcredit institutions to recover the damages, so today they have come out in protest against the thieves who, after extorting them, flooded them!

Although they are flooding for the third time in four months, the Albanian State refuses to declare a state of emergency, as it seeks to avoid compensation.

For this reason, today the citizens of Durrës responded to the call of the youth of the FRPD to protest.

The $20 million invested in the Durres hydroelectric dam has gone to waste, as the dam is inefficient because the dam project was diverted to Rama's project for the port in Porto Romano, near his Eco Park.

Many residents of New Durrës, to furnish their homes after the first two floods, have turned to microcredit to borrow money and will likely do so again.

This is the sad reality of the inhabitants of this area, a reality that I experienced up close, after I went to the Spitalla area, where I have family members from Skrapar, in Gjiri i Lalzit, Manzë, as well as in Shkozet, the former marshland, and Shijak, where my collaborators accompanied me.

Protests will be relentless against this caste of unscrupulous thieves.
