The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has declared that a broad roundtable of the opposition and civil society will be convened on Friday, where positions and further steps against the government will be determined.

According to Berisha, the table will be open for debate and discussion, with the aim of making joint decisions regarding the positions and protests that will be undertaken in the future.

"We go to the open table to debate with those present and decide together on the positions and protests we will hold," he said.

Berisha stressed that this roundtable will also determine the date when the next protest will be organized, adding that the opposition aims for the widest possible coordination with civil society to oppose what he described as the "regime."

"There is a date that on Friday a very broad roundtable of the opposition and civil society will gather where the date and the ongoing positions towards Ramaduro and his regime will be determined. We go to the open roundtable to debate with those present and decide together on the positions of the protests that we will undertake in the future. That roundtable will determine when the protest will be held," said Berisha./ CNA
