Security agreement with Ukraine/ Hasani: We take the necessary responsibilities

The Parliament ratified the cooperation agreement on security and long-term support between Albania and Ukraine, signed on January 21, 2025, in Davos.

 The agreement aims for the Republic of Albania, in accordance with its capacities, to provide political, military, technical, defense and humanitarian support to Ukraine, as part of bilateral and international commitments.

During the presentation of this agreement in the plenary session, Minister Hasani underlined that since the beginning of the unprovoked Russian aggression against Ukraine, Albania has clearly stated that it is on the side of the law, international law and the Ukrainian people.

" The cooperation agreement on security and long-term support between Albania and Ukraine is ratified in parliament. "

We provide support to Ukraine within the framework of bilateral and international commitments.

"As a reliable NATO member country, we take on the necessary responsibilities in defending the international order that guarantees peace and freedom for all ," Hasani said./ CNA
