"The May 11th farce got out of control"/ Zhupa: Albanians must be told the truth about the elections

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, said today that the May 11 election process was an electoral farce controlled by the narco-state and criminal cartels.
Invited this Thursday to a show on 'Syri TV', Berisha said that the state, with all its potential, controlled the will of the voters.
Berisha added that on May 11, every principle of the electoral code and international documents was broken.
"Voting and elections are a process, when they are conducted on the basis of national and international rules, we are dealing with an electoral process that follows certain criteria, legal standards and implements international principles for free elections and competition.
But what if this process is carried out at a time when the head of the narco-state has announced the electoral code of a Chinese state?
If this process takes place when the head of the narco-state or dictatorship decides to use all financial, human, logistical potential, all executive power to defeat the opponent in the race, this is enough for the elections to be a parody, a farce and not an electoral process.
In the case of Albania, two major things have happened to the electoral process, firstly, the state with all its potential, thus tens of thousands of administration employees paid by Albanian taxpayers were transformed into electoral operators, terrorists or electoral political police to control the will of the voters.
76 million euros were used to publicly buy votes, to reward each pensioner 100 euros for a vote in the middle of the campaign.
4500 events, in the period prohibited by law, were organized, more than in 3 and a half years taken together, four months before the elections.
200 million euros in interest and fines were forgiven in the last 10 years, 2 days before the elections.
Tens of thousands of employees were temporarily hired for the vote.
Tens of thousands of building permits, legalization permits, property certificates were distributed, thus using executive power to buy votes.
Over 500 million euros in public procurements, concessions, were signed in the period prohibited by law, solely for votes. All of these are evidence of the transformation of the state and its institutions into an electoral state and electoral institutions.
These are sufficient, excessive, for the elections to turn into a farce and not be a real process. But in Albania, in addition to the transformation of the state into an electoral state, we are dealing with the narco-state, which in close collaboration with drug cartels, with the machetes of crime and drug cartels, criminal organizations and groups, transformed into a machine, if the first was a vote-buying industry, the second a giant machine of intimidation, intimidation, terrorization of Albanians and control of their will.
"The drug cartels and criminal organizations had 28 deputies under their patronage to support them.
So, the truth is that the electoral farce of May 11 was dominated by these 2 cardinal features, in which every principle of the electoral code and international documents was broken," Berisha said./CNA
