Korreshi: The device used to block Tik-Tok intercepted messages and phone calls

Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi stated this evening that he has information about a device in our country that has been used for wiretapping.

In a statement to "Opinion", Korreshi said that this device is a DPI which, according to him, was initially used to shut down TikTok. He further stated that any phone or computer that worked with the Albanian network, wi-fi or any telephone company, could be intercepted with the device in question.

Excerpt from the interview:

Korreshi: That device is a DPI that initially served to shut down TikTok, but the information I have is that it served to eavesdrop on the Task Force set up by SPAK for the March-April-May election period.

Fevziu: Who operated the device?

Korreshi: That device was located near AKEP.

Fevziu: So you're saying that it was AKEP employees who operated this device and eavesdropped on the SPAK Task Force?

Korreshi: I can't say exactly. But you know what happened to the tax servers. Just as unauthorized people enter the tax system, there may also be unauthorized people at AKEP.
