Report for May 11/ Boçi: There were no elections, the majority in Albania

Democratic MP Luciano Boçi reacted today after the publication of the OSCE-ODIHR final report on the May 11 parliamentary elections.

Through a post on social media, Boçi states that it is being bluntly stated that the elections were dominated by the party-state.

Boçi adds that this report confirms once again that the majority in the country is illegitimate.

"OSCE-ODHIR BOMB Report"

The report released today completely refutes the May 11 elections:

• OSCE/ODIHR says it bluntly: the elections were dominated by the party-state.

The competition was with the regime that used every financial and administrative resource, including criminal ones, without restriction.

• The state was used as an electoral office and not as a public institution.

• Administration employees were under pressure and the vote of fear outweighed the free vote.

• The media was completely captured and controlled, and media pluralism was stifled. Propaganda replaced information.

• Patronage has become a system and this is unacceptable by international standards.

• The process was not even peaceful on the day that the regime portrays as "peaceful", voting day.

Ultimately these are not elections!
