Today, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Tourism and Environment and the French Development Agency for the creation of a comprehensive project for sustainable tourism in the Korça region.

After the signing, Prime Minister Edi Rama held a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron.

In his speech, Rama said that thanks to Albanian-French cooperation, ways have been created to bring the excellence of France to Albania.

Rama further said that the aim is to strengthen the relationship with France in the field of water, where the French are champions of innovation.

Rama also said that France's involvement in the construction of the Durrës-Pristina railway is being discussed.

" We have taken stock of the work accomplished after President Macron's first visit. It was a special privilege that Albania hosted the European political community."

Thanks to this cooperation, we have created ways to bring French excellence to Albania.

We want to strengthen the relationship in terms of water management, where France is a champion of innovation and experience. There are companies that operate all over the world. We also talked about waste, we have a lot to do.

"We have also talked about the possibility of France's involvement in the construction of the Durrës-Pristina railway. We will see further how it can materialize ," Rama said.
