The leader of the Christian Democratic Party, Nard Ndoka, spoke about the political dismissal of Erion Veliaj and the candidacy of Ogerta Manastirliu for the Municipality of Tirana.
Invited to the Kafe Shqeto show, Nard Ndoka said that Rama is scared, and this was evident in the eyes of candidate Ogerta Manastirliu herself, beyond the emotions about the new task she has been assigned.
According to Ndoka, the Municipality of Tirana is a big problem when you have Prime Minister Rama as you could have the fate of your predecessor (referring to Veliaj).
"Rama is dangerous because although he has been mayor for three terms and then he demanded legal decentralization, he had his independence in taxes. When he came to power, he forgot the principles he had demanded at that time and today we have a character who violates the Constitution, he asks mayors to dismiss their deputy mayors. It is a normal process that also comes from the Municipal Council. Rama's appetite is simply that, he doesn't like them. He will impose authority over them as well.
Looking at it in this sense, I see an increased danger from Rama, who is a narcissist. He thinks he controls every corner of the territory. He is not satisfied with his soldiers but also tries to reach out to the opposition.
The opposition will have a hard time with this person tomorrow. It will not be easy, we will have a competition in which the opposition will be clear, it will exercise its strength, there are other factors that will influence this confrontation.
He is scared. This was even visible in the eyes of the candidate herself. Beyond the emotions, there was a great fear. Tomorrow he will give up his mandate as an MP and may remain out of politics. The municipality is a big problem when you have Prime Minister Rama. You may have the fate of the predecessor. It is a great fear. The Veliaj sect has been big in the municipality. It has controlled the directors and in terms of votes. A parallel with the last elections against Këlliç. I say he won this race because he managed to unmask every character who put his hands in the elections and stole the votes. By following Veliaj foot to foot with evidence, facts, with denunciations to SPAK. With this confrontation, the opposition has an advantage. In the race, it proved that the votes are stolen.
"We have a Tirana in chaos everywhere, not only from constructions, towers, but everything that weighs on the lives of citizens in every sector," said Ndoka./ CNA
