The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, made strong statements this evening, as he spoke about the protesters regarding the arrest of the acting mayor of Himara, Joirgo Goros.

Berisha described Goro as the "victim" of Olta Xhaçka, because his arrest is related to the alienation of the property of the former minister's husband, Artan Gaçi.

He accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of committing massacres on the lands of the Himariots, while raising allegations that the head of the government is a shareholder in the construction of Olta Xhaçka's husband.

"Today Edi Rama ordered the imprisonment of Jorgo Goro. I tell you, there is no renaissance that does not steal, but Jorgo Goro is the victim of Olta Xhaçka, because Goro did nothing but register the forged land of the strategic investor, Olta Xhaçka's husband. Edi Rama keeps Olta in the parliament. Of course, she is a shareholder in her husband's strategic investment. And for this he convinces us by arresting Goro for registering her properties.
