The vice-president of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, spoke again about the agreement reached with the majority on investigative commissions and the return of the Parliament to normality.

Bardhi said that he is satisfied that the opposition is functional and the return to normality is good news for them and the Albanians.

"We have gone through difficult moments not only these 5 months. We have more than 2 years in difficult moments. I am satisfied that after the merger of the group, we managed to unite most of the PD and made it functional, thus making the opposition functional. We fought a 5-month battle in the assembly for our constitutional rights.
The return to normality is good news for the Albanians as the opposition returned its rights and now our duty is to do what the Albanians elected us for," he said.

Bardhi indicated that it was Speaker of the Parliament Lindita Nikolla who made an informal request for dialogue, while emphasizing that international mediation was done for this.

The vice-president of the Democratic Party emphasized that the meetings took place in the institutions of the Parliament.

"The entire dialogue focused on the normalization of parliamentary life. Therefore, the dialogue has been developed in the institutions of the Parliament. International partners have urged the parties for political dialogue. I have expressed my readiness for dialogue since the first day. It started with Nikola's informal request for the heads of the 4 parliamentary groups", underlined Bardhi./ CNA
