Opposition deputy, with a new party

Dashnor Sula, deputy of the Democratic Party, has started work on the creation of a new political party, which will be led by himself.

CNA learns that Sula has started meetings and is in contact with DP deputies or structures for preparations for a new political alternative. 

An exact date is not known when Dashnor Sula will make public the name and logo of the new party. 

In recent months, we have seen Dashnor Sula very active in the Assembly and parliamentary committees, making strong accusations against the Rama government. 

Initially, Sula came out against the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, positioning himself on the side of Basha. But in recent months he changed his course, positioning himself against Basha, after he became part of the DP's opposition action, causing chaos and tensions in commissions or plenary sessions. 

Now he was critical of the agreement between the DP and the SP, criticizing the Democrats as well. 

Sula's new party comes 1 year before the 2025 parliamentary elections. Meanwhile, it is the second party to be created from among the opposition, after that of Agron Shehaj. 

In the meantime, Lulzim Basha is also expected to form his own party, if he is lucky enough to keep the seal of the DP. In the same way, we will also see movement from Democratic Persuasion./ CNA
