The mayor of Rrogozhina under investigation by SPAK, Edison Memolla, has reacted to the accusations brought against him.

Memolla claims that the accusations are untrue and aimed at lowering his image.

He attacks the media as he says that people hungry for power are hiding behind them. Memolla warns on social networks that he will file a lawsuit against the media that defame him.

"Until today, I have faced every accusation, slander, untruth or fake news that has been coming out for a long time to lower my image in everyone's eyes.

Being a part of politics undoubtedly makes you the target of many media cauldrons just to meet the demands of the power-hungry people hiding behind the television logos.

However, I have never gone against them openly as I am an individual who knows how to respond to justice as long as I manage the work and position entrusted to me by my citizens with honesty and purity. But the fact that besides me you are smearing my family members with extremely serious and unforgivable accusations, even for the umpteenth time, makes me react and use every possible legal weapon to protect them.

Anyone who knows us knows very well how hard and sweat my family has managed to be what it is now and for all those who utter words other than this truth, we will now see each other even for the most common slander, in the doors of all justice institutions.
