The agreement on the commissions/ Luli does not go bad
Lulzim Basha

The Democratic Party protested for 5 months in the Assembly, not allowing plenary sessions or committee meetings to take place.

But while the democrats protested and demanded the establishment of investigative commissions, Lulzim Basha and his deputies continued their lives as if nothing was happening.

They did not join the opposition with the protest, but on the contrary, joined the votes with the majority and approved several draft laws and moreover attacked the deputies for the opposition action, declaring that normality should be allowed in the Assembly.

Luli has already fallen asleep late. He started arguing as soon as the PD reached an agreement with the majority and agreed to the establishment of commissions and normality in the Assembly.

Since he was out of the game, Luli went to the Parliament and blocked the floor. But not only that, he also appeared in the media and attacked the opposition in meetings.

He did the same thing this afternoon during a meeting in Lushnja. Basha raised accusations against DP deputies and asked not to set up investigative commissions, which the opposition has been protesting for months.

"Today, the Democratic Party stands in front of a political caste that pretends to fight with each other, but after 6 months of theater, it is ready to reach bargains, agreements, for their interests, against the interests of the Albanians. Such is the bargain they have made. Therefore, even last week they wanted to stifle the transparency and denunciation of this bazaar in the Parliament of Albania, of course they did not succeed. This is a bazaar that tries to hide the simplest and most understandable things from every Albanian. 6 months of pseudo revolution with flares! What was achieved?

A new law on investigative commissions was reached that is 10 times worse than the previous law and that destroys transparency, destroys the ability of the opposition to collect facts and documents, compel witnesses and do it transparently. So, not only was nothing positive achieved, but parliamentary rights, opposition rights, public rights that the opposition had were lost. 8 commissions were requested, two were received, and the people rightly say: they did 8 to 2. One of those commissions is just as much, because as you know very well, how can a parliamentary investigation on sterilization be requested, meanwhile the minister of health at the time of the sterilization was taken as a defendant at the beginning of the week by SPAK, with a charge which risks up to 4 years in prison. Then why is he asking the commission of inquiry when the prosecutor's office finished the investigations?

Of course there is no transparency, there is a game, there is a ballet of parties to hide the truth. If you read the documents, it is clear that the so-called transparency commission for sterilization will deal with administrative measures and legal changes. So, while SPAK will put Ilir Beqë in prison for the theft of sterilization, they will deal with administrative measures, which means that at most they will propose fines?!

The other damage lies in the total lack of space and opposition voice for 6 months.

They blew the whistles to block the voice of the opposition because they could not block the government. The government passed for 3, 4 or 5, maximum 7 minutes. For 4 minutes and 50 seconds, they approved the budget of 7 billion euros in taxes that are being taken and will be taken from the Albanians to be spent as Edi Rama and his corrupt government want.

Did PD have the opportunity to raise this issue in Parliament?! Certainly not because the whistleblowers didn't mind here. They had their mind set on how to make a deal for themselves, for their chairs, and that is an accusation I do not make lightly, but you yourself have seen what the real motive is. The real motive is to keep the Electoral Code in force as it is with closed lists", emphasized Luli./ CNA
