Former MP Dashamir Shehi, invited to a television studio, analyzed Prime Minister Rama's request to the Municipal Council to dismiss Erion Veliaj and the proposal that Manastirliu run for this position.

Shehi said that Rama should have already announced the elections and that the name is entirely his decision.

Regarding the opposition, the former MP said that Berisha has his name ready for the position of mayor because the Municipality of Tirana has the highest public function where he can play politics.

"Rama should announce the elections and not pull them off according to his own interests, as the law states, they should have been announced by now, then if he wants, let him appoint Manastirli or someone else, it's his choice."
