The new Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, proposed by Rama, Niko Peleshi, has given a statement to the media after the conclusion of the Socialist Party's National Assembly. He stated that he will use the new task assigned to him to give all political forces the right time in the Parliament.


"We must coordinate the work of all MPs. The opposition, the majority and every MP will have their own time in the Assembly. We will also work on the development of technology, as it can facilitate our work in the Assembly", he said.
Asked about the ministers who were left out of the cabinet of the "Rama 4" government, Peleshi refused to comment, saying that it is not up to him to speak about them.  I do not want to make analyses because it is not up to me and it is not the place and time for something like that. The main challenge is not only balance, but we must move to a new awareness, that Albania today is entering an unimaginable segment that has a very large volume of work. We should not see politics as a gladiator arena because we will miss the 'last train'. Without the support of Parliament, for a timely response to laws and if we have delays, we may miss the train for decades to come. This is very important" , declared Peleshi.


Peleshi took credit for the new division of the Commissions, saying that he worked for them. According to him, the opposition should be satisfied with the division of the Commissions as it will lead one more.


"The opposition should be satisfied with what was presented at the SP Assembly because it will have one more committee under its leadership. I had my modest role in designing the new model of committees alongside the working group," said Peleshi./ CNA
