Journalist Elvi Fundo said today that Rama's action in some areas of the country is more of a propaganda before the local elections, based on the idea that the problems there could boomerang back into government.

"Maybe the cup ran out, after seeing the work after the elections. Maybe the problems will come back to him like a boomerang in government. I think it's propaganda mixed with a little work. To appear politically as someone who does work, until he announces elections in these municipalities and there is corruption there, the problems have been there for years. He comes out and talks about public properties, but there is nothing more public than incinerators. So I say that I see it as strategic propaganda for local elections. Those responsible must be brought to justice," Fundo said.

In an interview on 'Syri Tv', Fundo stated that the problem with public spaces clearly shows a failure of municipalities and administrative reform.

Fundo said that the biggest problem in this case is local administration.

"Rama has previously increased the control of public spaces in these 25 years. This shows the total failure of municipalities and administrative reform, which was not done properly, not even with the recommendations of the opposition. Corruption has inflated the administration and they should be brought to justice. I believe that the root cause is total mismanagement. In Vlora they complain that they have no water during the summer. And when they say that the ministry is to blame, this is total irresponsibility. The leader has his heat with the heads of the municipalities. Today he is the mayor of the large municipality called Albania", Fundo said./CNA
