KAS rejects DP's request for invalidity for 4 districts

The KAS has decided to reject the request filed by the Democratic Party for invalidity for the Elbasan, Fier, Tirana and Durrës districts.

This Monday, the Complaints and Sanctions Committee held a meeting with this agenda:

1. Review of the appeal request no. 56, dated 29.05.2025, filed by the Democratic Party - Alliance for Greater Albania Coalition with the subject: “1. Objection to decision no. 1328, dated 24.05.2025, of the SEC, “On the approval of the Summary Table of the voting results in the Elbasan District electoral zone, for electoral entities and candidates for deputies in the elections for the Assembly, dated 11 May 2025”. 2. Invalidity of the elections held on 11 May 2025 in the Elbasan District electoral zone. 3. Resolution of the consequences by ordering the repetition of the elections for the Assembly of Albania in the entire Elbasan District electoral zone”.

2. Review of the appeal request no. 48, dated 29.05.2025, filed by the Democratic Party - Alliance for a Greater Albania Coalition with the subject: “1. Objection to Decision No. 1326, dated 24.05.2025, of the SEC "On the approval of the Summary Table of Voting Results in the Tirana District electoral zone, for electoral entities and candidates for deputies in the elections for the Assembly of May 1, 2025". 2. Invalidity of the elections held on May 11, 2025 in the Tirana District electoral zone. 3. Resolution of the consequences by ordering the repetition of the elections for the Assembly of Albania in the entire Tirana District electoral zone”.

3. Review of the appeal request no. 47, filed by the Democratic Party Coalition - Alliance for a Greater Albania with the object:” 1. Objection to Decision No. 1317, dated 23.05.2025, of the SEC - "On the approval of the Summary Table of the Voting Results in the Fier District electoral area, for electoral subjects and candidates for deputies in the elections for the Assembly of May 11, 2025". 2. Invalidity of the elections held on May 11, 2025 in the Fier District electoral area. 3. Resolution of the consequences by ordering the repetition of the elections for the Assembly of Albania in the entire Fier District electoral area”.

4. Review of the appeal request no. 45, filed by the Democratic Party Coalition - Alliance for a Greater Albania with the subject: “1. Objection to decision No. 1327, dated 23.05.2025, of the SEC "On the approval of the Summary Table of the Voting Results in the Durrës District electoral zone, for electoral entities and candidates for deputies in the elections for the Assembly of May 11, 2025". 2. Invalidity of the elections held on May 11, 2025 in the Durrës District electoral zone. 3.
