Malltez's release/Berisha: He served two years in political prison

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a press conference this Monday, reacted to the decision of the Criminal Court of Kosovo to lift the house arrest measure for his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi.

According to Berisha, Malltezi has served two years in political prison.

"Jamarbër Malltezi has spent two years as a political prisoner at home.

Political prisoner in an absolute manner without violating any law of this state.

Without violating any rule, any standard of this state.

With a pyramid fraud file in which the only person, out of hundreds and hundreds of people who have signatures in that file, convicted by the court is Edi Rama. Convicted of 320 thousand euros. And Edi Rama has returned them one by one.

The only person who has violated the law out of the hundreds of employees who have their signature in that process, from 1994 to 2009, the only person who has been found to have violated the law and has been convicted by the court of three instances after 2013, is Edvin Ramaduro.

So, Jamarbër Malltëzi was held in an act of revenge as one of the first people to tell Albanians that the burner affair was the most corrupt affair up to that time.
