Prime Minister Edi Rama has warned with an iron fist that action will be taken against those who violate the law and occupy public spaces.

Through a post on the "X" platform, he published images of the occupied spaces in the December 21 area in Tirana.

Rama warns that anyone who occupies public spaces will face not only appropriate fines but also criminal prosecution for destruction of public property, violation of the health and physical safety of citizens, and so on.

"A classic "unholy land" situation in Tirana, on December 21st - whoever does not remove the barricades that people have erected from the common public space with all kinds of objects, from tables and refrigerators on the sidewalks to the walls or beams of the "customs" around the buildings, will face not only the appropriate fines but also the appropriate criminal prosecutions for destruction of public property, violation of the health and physical safety of citizens and so on... Time for everyone to come together in the name of coexistence in the same neighborhood; the majority taking back what is theirs and the minority taking back what is not theirs!", writes Rama./ CNA
